Poor Shape, Short, Angled, Misaligned, & Gummy

Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, West Palm Beach, & Miami Dentists

This patient had short, poor shaped teeth that were at and angle when she smiled. This patient hated her gummy, short teeth. Tooth # 6 (Upper right canine ) had a root fracture.

Procedure:
A wax up was preformed before we treated this patient. I drilled on a model, and then wax up to obtain the desired result, before acturally working on a patient.

A gingivectomy was done on the upper anterior teeth to increase the amount of tooth structure showing.

Porcelain laminates were placed to increase the length and change the shape of her teeth. An all porcelain lava bridge was inserted on the upper right to replace the missing canine. The patient was not a candidate for implants because of a bone defect.

This aspiring singer, now has the DaVinci smile, she always desired.
